Tungsten Carbide Wire Cutters are core consumables for wire-cutting machine tools, used for precise cutting of electrode wires to ensure continuous and accurate machining.

Material Features

High-hardness tungsten carbide substrate (tungsten carbide content ≥85%): Hardness of 89–93 HRA, arc erosion resistance exceeding 1500 hours, ensuring long-term stable wire cutting.

Cobalt/nickel binder: Enhances toughness (density 11–15 g/cm³), resists chipping under high-frequency impact, and eliminates burrs on the cut surface.

Precision cutting-edge technology: 20°–60° blade angle design (30° is commonly used), 20 fine grinding steps achieve a finish of Ra ≤ 0.1μm, reducing wire breakage.

Mechanical Compatibility

Model Compatibility: C415/S465 toolholders are specifically designed for Charmilles machines. The Makino system is compatible with rotating toolholders (reducing the risk of uneven wear).

Structural Optimization: Carbide stoppers prevent overload cutting. The threaded hole bolt abutment design simplifies replacement.
